‘West Ireland Investments’ completes its second residential development project in Ireland.

‘West Ireland Investments’ was pleased to be involved in the renovation of a prominent redbrick Georgian building on Cecil Street in the heart of Limerick City. It has been given a new lease of life through a carefully considered conversion into five high-quality residential apartments.

This venture which began with the purchase of the property in Q3 2025 has yielded exceptionally strong returns of (56%) in under 12 months.

The project represents an important investment in the preservation of Limerick's architectural heritage while addressing the growing demand for city-centre housing. The building, which is in an Architectural Conservation Area (ACA) has been sensitively restored to retain its historic character while incorporating modern standards of comfort, energy efficiency and functionality.

Steve Mayne CEO of ‘West Ireland Investments’ commented “From the outset, we recognised the significance of this Georgian building and the responsibility that came with restoring it. Seeing a once-underutilised property brought back to life as five beautiful apartments has been immensely rewarding. The project strikes a balance between respecting the past and providing sustainable, modern accommodation for the future. Thanks go to the hard work of our partner Rory McCormack and the ‘West Ireland Investment’ team, for making this happen.”
